S2V Racing finishes fifth in the 12 hours of Sebring

Victor Grano de Oro and Sergi Maturana took the Audi R8 LMS of S2V Esports to the fifth position of the GT3 category.

This Saturday, the third iRacing team endurance test took place at 12 noon in Sebring. The team returned to the path of good results in this type of events after the abandonment in Bathurst after a strong accident. The race had a complicated first part with some problems with bent cars, which were solved perfectly by our drivers. A special mention to our track engineer Fernando Guerrero, who was on top of the team’s strategy during the 12 hours of the event.

«This fifth place tastes good after a very difficult start to the race. You should never lose hope, especially in such a long race. The car has gone from less to more. Great management of pace, corners and tyres was the key to the race.
Congratulate and thank Fernando who gives a complete security and Victor that we continue with our feet on the ground and knowing what to do at all times«, declared Maturana.

«It has been one of my best races so far, taking into account the bad situation we were in at the beginning of the race and the great comeback we have done knowing how to overcome the problems with rhythm and constancy. It’s always a pleasure to share a track with Sergi and have someone like Fernando as a spotter who gives immense confidence«, said Víctor then the race.

The next resistance race will take place next month with the mythical 24 Hours of Nürburgring.
